How To Take Beautiful Selfie Pictures

1.) Relax.

- To take a picture of yourself is lesser stressful than modeling for somebody else. If you take a lot of bad photos, you can just erase them from your digital camera or cellphone before anyone else could see them. All you have to do is to relax, practice your smile!

2.) Take a picture every day.

- Take a picture every day, when ever you feel happy or comfortable with how you look. It does not matter whether it is early in the morning or late at night, what matters is how you feel about yourself. If you feel confident, then take a snap of yourself and more! =)

3.) Experiment with settings.

- Experimenting with your camera's setting is a must. You must know whether your look good with a flash or not. There is nothing wrong with playing with your camera's settings, sometimes playing with it gives you the best pictures that you never thought you'd have.

4.) Take as many pictures as you can.

- Taking so many photos as you can is the only way you can get the photos that you want. Be silly, look scary, look sweet, look sad, look whatever you want in a picture and take a lot of them, later on you can pick the ones that you really love!

5.) Avoid doubling your double chin.

- If you have even a minor double chin never take the photo from under your face. The greates flattering angle is a little above and having your face turned at an angle.

6.) Highlight the part of yourself that you like.

- It is important that you highlight the part of yourself that you like example your eyes, lips etc.

7.) Use black and white for a change.

- I use black and white all the time because it makes the photo looks unique. Try it and see for yourself.

8.) Pay attention to the lightning.

- Always pay attention to the lightning. You might think it won't make a difference but lightning could definitely make a be a big impact to your photo results.

How To Have The Perfect Photo Prints

Digital cameras make pictures by recording the light that hits photo sensors. The digital information is recorded as pixels...or points of information. These pixels can be thought of as microscopic dots that make up your picture. If there are enough pixels you will get a good, sharp picture. With too few pixels, the picture will have jagged edges in the subject matter.

The number of pixels you need for a good print depends on the size of the print. The larger the print size, the more pixels (dots) are necessary to fill in the space.

How you set your camera can determine the number of pixels you get and the subsequent quality of your prints. We recommend setting your camera at the highest resolution and "Best" quality level to get the highest quality on your prints and give yourself the option of ordering bigger prints.(The downside of setting your camera to the highest quality level is that you'll be shooting fewer pictures before filling up a memory card.)

Here are the minimum resolution file sizes we recommend for each print size:

Size Recommended Minimum Resolution Megapixels

4x6 600x800 0.4

5x7 960x1280 1.2

8x10 1200x1600 1.9

Camera Exposure

Although your camera choose to control exposure automatically, the capacity of light striking the image sensor, some digital cameras may somewhat presume the right exposure. While film has several stops of exposure latitude (the amount you can miss the correct exposure and still get a good print) there is basically no margin for mistake with digital cameras.Although our technicians individually color correct every picture, some camera exposure mistakes are further the correctable range. That's why having great exposures when you take your pictures can go a long way in giving you the best prints.

Many of the lower-priced digital cameras have no way for you to override the exposure your camera selects. However, some of the more expensive camera models will often have an exposure bias control that lets you adjust how your camera exposes the picture. Some will also have a graph, known as a histogram, which you can use to determine the optimum exposure range. We suggest you read your camera's instruction manual to see if any of these exposure-adjusting tools are in the camera's feature set.
