My Travel and Tours Destinations Blog

The Dallas World Aquarium








These pictures were taken at the Dallas World Aquarium.I took these pictures when my family and I went to Dallas,Texas for our weekend vacation.At first I thought that I would only fish and other water animals at the Dallas World Aquarium but I was wrong.There were so many different animals there,the place was really entertaining and it's really cool.I got more pictures to post but I have to edit them first.I hope you all like the pictures!:-)

River Cafe






River Cafe is a restaurant along a man made mini river located at the GayLord Texan Resort in Grapevine,Texas.River Cafe is a mini replica of the famous River Walk located in San Antonio,Texas.The food are great and the price are not really that expensive,they also have a brunch buffet.They offer an indoor and an outdoor dining area in case you want to know... c",)

These pictures were taken at the GayLord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine.Overlooking beautiful Lake Grapevine, Gaylord Texan is just six minutes from the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.The place is really amazing,my family and I really had a great time there.If you go there,you will really be amazed at the four and a half acres of indoor gardens and winding waterways.My family and I are going back there tomorrow so expect more pictures!:-)

The 1st Cavalry Division Museum in Ft. Hood





Here are the other pictures that I have promised to upload from my last post.These pictures were taken when my family and I have visited the out door exhibit of the 1st Cavalry Division Museum at Fort Hood,Texas.The museum exhibits those military vehicles and equipment that has been used both from Vietnam era,and the modern days.The 1st Cavalry Division Museum - out door exhibit is located at Fort Hood,Texas.This place is really full of history which makes it a very interesting place to visit!

These pictures were taken at the 1st Cavalry Division Museum - Outdoor Exhibits located at Fort Hood,Texas.1st Cavalry Division Museum - Outdoor Exhibits offers a huge selection of historical equipments used by the U.S. Army.Whether it is an aircraft or armored vehicle,it has touched 1st Cavalry Division in a very unique way and has added to the historical importance of the First Team.I really enjoyed taking these pictures,I still have some pictures to post,I just need to do some editing on it.See You All Later!



Waco Suspension Bridge and Riverwalk







The bridge is flanked by two great Waco parks — Indian Spring Park on the west side, and Martin Luther King, Jr. park on the east side.

The River Walk on the west side of the river extends from Ft. Fisher Park, past the Historic Suspension Bridge and continues for an additional 1-1/2 mile to the Herring Ave. bridge.The completion of the River Walk on the east bank of the river allows visitors to walk or jog the River Walk loop and enjoy the view from both sides of the river.

Waco Suspension Bridge



Waco’s Historic Suspension Bridge was the longest single-span suspension bridge west of the Mississippi when it was completed in 1870.The bridge was built with cable supplied by the John Roebling Co., who built the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City.Crucial to traders and travelers for well over a century,the bridge stands as an icon of Waco history and is the centerpiece of many community festivals and events including the 4th on the Brazos celebration and Brazos Nights concerts.

The Oasis Restaurant



The Oasis Restaurant is located in Austin,Texas.This sunset viewers/admirers spot recently renewed its menu so that people would come here for the food.But even the best food cannot compete with the view.With classy layered decks stair-stepped down the side of a 450-foot cliff overlooking Lake Travis,The Oasis has a table with a view for everyone whether you like to stay in an indoor or the outdoor.It is a magnet for tourists and locals alike.With seating capacity for over 2,000 people,and more indoor space than ever,the Oasis is now a year round,all weather,top destination restaurant.The menu is varied, split between Tex-Mex and traditional fare like prime rib and grilled salmon.Watching the sunset from here is so amazing!

Lake Travis






Lake Travis is located at Austin,Texas.At the widest point the lake is 4.5 miles wide and has 270 miles of shoreline.Lake Travis is the fifth lake down in the chain of Highland Lakes on the Colorado River in central Texas.Boating,fishing and golf are very popular around Lake Travis.
